Save Point Shenanigans
It’s been several months since I wrote a Substack post; so long, in fact, that I completely forgot for a bit how to even compose one.
At the start of 2025, this Substack was just about everything to me; I had thrown myself into it for two years running. Not a day passed that I didn’t check my stats, even when I hadn’t posted in a while. I was obsessed with how I was going to expand this site’s reach.
Now it’s September, I haven’t written here since July, and it’s been so long since I bothered checking my stats that when I tried to do so yesterday, I found that I couldn’t even figure it out with all of the updates to Substack that have gone down since I bothered looking.
Still, my subscriber base has steadily grown, and this is because I’ve spent so long developing the opposite side of my platform: The live, spontaneous one.
I fear my writing skills will atrophy for lack of use, and I do still have a manuscript to work on. I need to find the way to wrap all of this up with a nice, purple bow and really get this show on the road.
Why?
Because back in November, no sooner did I return to Berwyn than Nick Fuentes went viral—also posting from Berwyn—with the slogan, “your body, my choice.” Now, close to 11 months later, one of his followers has captured the headlines with Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Meanwhile, although I remain a relative unknown on the public stage, I know that Nick Fuentes is my Dark Twin, and that I must own that. I also know others have seen the patterns, and that a quiet horde is being raised to meet the challenge represented by he and his ilk.
To that end, I recorded the below video for my YouTube channel to serve as my last word for the time being. I’ve been talking and talking about my plans, making progress even when it’s been unexpected, but remaining steadfast at the very least in my commitment to keep doing the next right thing. I know it’s made me hard to follow, and for those who’ve been trying, I apologize…
…but it all goes down the way it does for a reason.
We’re not done. We’re just getting started. Stay tuned for more.
